Inkpen canal, countryside & woodlands

A terrific 9 to 10 mile circular walk along the canal and in the wonderful West Berkshire countryside.

We shall buy group train tickets at 10am for the train at 10.35am that arrives at Kintbury at 11.35am after changing at Newbury.

Train ticket : Kintbury return

Likely train back at 4pm or perhaps around 5pm.

Things to bring : packed lunch, water, snacks etc plus waterproof jacket and walking shoes/boots/ trainers.

We shall have a drink at the end of the walk in Kintbury.

You should be able to walk 2.5 miles per hour and have adequate and appropriate insurance for this type of activity.

Meetup fee : £5 payable in cash or in advance by bank transfer.
