Lewes to Hassocks

An absolutely stunning 10.5 mile walk on the South Downs!

There will be a hill near the start of the walk and the rest of the walk shall be a little undulating at times.

Please arrive by 9.50am so that we can buy group train tickets to Lewes or use your passes : 10.24am train that arrives at Lewes at 11.26am.

Return train ticket : Lewes

The walk shall commence at around 11.35am.

Please bring packed lunch, water, snacks etc plus waterproof jacket and trainers/boots/walking shoes.

You should be able to walk 2.5 miles an hour on the flat and have adequate and appropriate insurance for this type of activity.

We shall have a drink around lunchtime and aim to take the train back at 5.02pm that arrives in London at around 6pm.

The return journey may involve a supplementary fare of one stop.

Meet up fee £5 payable in cash or in advance by bank transfer.
