Danbury Circular

A truly wonderful 8 to 9 mile walk in the woods by the charming historic Essex village of Danbury which was mentioned in the Doomsday Book!

Lets go with the flow!

Train ticket : Chelmsford return

We shall buy group return train tickets at 9.50am for the train at 10.18am that arrives at Chelmsford at 10.51am before taking the 331 bus at 11am that arrives in Danbury at 11.18am.

Or you may decide to drive.

The walk shall commence by 11.25am.

Please bring packed lunch, water, snacks etc, waterproof jacket and walking shoes or trainers.

We shall have a drink at the end of the walk.

You should have adequate insurance for this type of activity and be able to walk 2.5 miles per hour.

We aim to take the 331 bus at 4.38pm back to Chelmsford and then the subsequent train to London.

Meetup fee £5 payable in cash or by bank transfer in advance.
