Wimbledon Common & Richmond Park plus Isabella Plantation

A truly wonderful day out !

After meeting under the clock near platforms 11 and 12 at Waterloo we shall take the 10.12am direct train to Wimbledon that arrives at 10.28am using our oystercards or one day all zone travelcards.

We shall then walk at 10.40am up to delightful Wimbledon Common and then onto Isabella Plantation in nearby Richmond Park and enjoy the fantasyland appeal of the rosadendrums and azaleas all in full blossom.

We shall then walk through the rest of the park and resume the Thames Path by way of Petersham Meadow and then walk back to Richmond where we shall have a coffee.

Things to bring : packed lunch, water, snacks etc plus waterproof jacket and walking shoes/boots/ trainers.
