Blenhelm Palace and River Evenlode Cotswolds Circular
Details
A terrific 10 mile circular walk in the wonderful Cotswolds with some incredible scenery taking in the delightful grounds of Blenhelm Palace that house the River Glyme and also the River Evenlode which we shall also walk along by for some of the afternoon.
We shall also visit the fabulous remains at North Leigh Roman Villa.
We shall buy group train tickets at 10.15am for the train at 10.53am that arrives at Hanborough at 11.58am.
Train ticket : Hanborough return
We shall have a drink at the end of the walk.
Likely train back at 5.19pm.
Things to bring : packed lunch, water, snacks etc plus waterproof jacket and walking shoes/boots/ trainers.
You should be able to walk 2.5 miles per hour and have adequate and appropriate insurance for this type of activity.
Meetup fee : £5 payable in cash or in advance by bank transfer.
