Stonegate to Etchingham

A truly wonderful 9 mile walk in the wonderful Sussex countryside !

As from 9.25am everyone will buy day return train tickets to Etchingham either in a group of 3 or more or individually using their cards.

Train outbound: 9.53am that arrives at Stonegate at 10.56am

The walk shall commence by 11am at the entrance to Stonegate Station where Neil will meet you.

The group will have lunch by a pub in wonderful Burwash.

Or you may decide to drive.

Please bring packed lunch , water, snacks etc, waterproof jacket and walking shoes or trainers plus sunhat, suncream and sunglasses.

You should have adequate insurance for this type of activity and be able to walk 2.5 miles per hour.

We shall aim to take the train back to London at 4.14pm from Etchingham. There are trains every 30 minutes.

Meetup fee £5 payable in cash or by bank transfer in advance.
