Pt. Chevalier Beach to Western Springs via Meola Reef (approx 11kms)

This weekend we'll explore Pt. Chev. starting at the beach walking through parks and backroads to Meola Reef and then on to Western Springs Park and back.
We will walk at a moderate pace and reasonable fitness is required.

Members only and no children, pets or smoking.

Please arrive a few minutes early in time for introductions and a prompt start at 2.30pm.

Toilets- yes at Coyles Park and Western Springs Park.

What to bring:
Sun and rain protection
water and snack
Sturdy closed shoes with a good grip
Something to sit on at snack stop (optional)

We would appreciate a voluntary gold coin or annual donation to assist us with Meetup fees. Online or cash donations are welcome.

Meetup groups like this one are run by volunteers who would like to relax and enjoy the event as much as other participants. As such we expect everyone to take responsibility for themselves as we are not liable for any personal loss or injury at any event. By RSVP ing "Yes" you accept that you have read all the details of the trip and that you participate at your own risk. Therefore for your own safety and enjoyment and that of others please do not sign up for an event unless you know that your abilities are well within the level of fitness and agility required for it.
If you want to bring a friend to an event they need to sign up to this group so that they have the same understanding as above. Also there are limited spaces for our trips and so many members, so we have a policy that only members can come.

As always, please change your RSVP as soon as possible if you can't make it, so that those on the waiting list get plenty of warning. The person on the bottom of the waiting list is the first to be moved by the system. If you're on the waiting list please be patient and wait to be moved to the “yes” list by the meetup site if someone drops out. We would like to take everyone who wants to come, but we also want to keep the group smallish..25 or less, so please understand if you don't make it into the "Yes" list prior to the event.
