Glover Park to Tahuna Torea Nature Reserve (11kms)
Details
We will start at Glover Park walk through Churchill Park down to Roberta Reserve and do a loop to Tahuna Torea Nature Reserve. There will be a 10-15 min snack (BYO) stop on the way back at Roberta Reserve.
This will be an 11 - 12kms partly hilly walk through a farm park, bird sanctuary and bush walk in Glendowie/Glen Innes with great views of the estuary. As usual we will walk at a moderate pace.
What to bring:
Sun and rain protection
Plenty of water and a snack
Sturdy closed shoes with a good grip
Something to sit on for snack stop (optional)
Members only, no children, pets, smoking or vaping
We would appreciate a voluntary gold coin or annual donation to assist us with Meetup fees. Online or cash donations are welcome.

Meetup groups like this one are run by volunteers who would like to relax and enjoy the event as much as other participants. By RSVP ing "Yes" you accept that you have read all the details of the trip and that you participate at your own risk. Therefore for your own safety and enjoyment and that of others please do not sign up for an event unless you know that your abilities are well within the level of fitness and agility required for it.
If you want to bring a friend to an event they need to sign up to this group so that they have the same understanding as above. Also there are limited spaces for our trips and so many members, so we have a policy that only members can come.
