We will start from JR Abiko station and ride counter clockwise, taking a semi-loop around the lake. Take in the fresh air and soak up the tranquil ambiance as we ride along the dedicated cycling path.
Abiko, a serene and enchanting water body attracts a wide variety of birds. You can see up close "mute swan" along with other varieties of birds.
Later we stop by for a lunch along the Tone river or Sakae.
We will take another cycling road that goes through Inbanuma Lake and finally reach Sakura Furusato Square.
Sunflower festival at this park has about 15,000 vibrant flowers with a picturesque Dutch style windmill that attracts quite a lot of crowd during this season.
