Calais to Saint-Valery-sur-Somme and Back

Join us for a scenic two-day cycling adventure in northern France! We’ll ride around 120 km each day along the stunning Opal Coast and through peaceful inland countryside, passing through charming towns, dramatic sea cliffs, estuaries, and forests. Expect good roads, beautiful views, and great food along the way.

We’ll be a small group of 4 riders.

Good or very good fitness level required. You need to be able to cycle up to 120 km in a day on a hilly terrain with winds likely. You need to be able to fix a puncture and be an independent and confident road cyclist.

Day 1: Calais → Saint-Valery-sur-Somme (via Cap Gris-Nez, Boulogne, Le Touquet)
Overnight in a picturesque estuary town in a hotel stay
Day 2: Saint-Valery → Calais (via Abbeville, Hesdin Forest, rural villages)

Stops at local restaurants for lunch each day.

We’ll catch the ferry to France Saturday morning (around 10am) and return to Calais in time for the Sunday evening ferry (around 9pm). Ideal for experienced riders who enjoy coastal views, country lanes, and a touch of French charm.
