Weekend Morning Coffee Tea Group

Let's have a coffee, tea or your other favourite start-the-day drink together :) The idea is to enjoy (usually) Saturday morning in a nice multicultural atmosphere where we can make friends with people from different places and with different stories.
We meet every 2nd Saturday. We meet in Luhu they are very accommodating with our group :).

A bit of background for the group…
I arrived in Groningen in June 2022. My path so far was Warsaw —> Hamburg —> Antwerp —> Brussels. In Brussels, I used to attend a Weekend Morning Coffee Meetup organized by lovely Claudia. Her event had a great atmosphere with a nice crowd and she inspired me to start something similar in my new home :) We exist since August 2022.

Now a bit about the structure of the event:

1. The event is primarily directed at working adults, not students. I feel there are enough opportunities for students to mix and mingle in Groningen while when you move to a new place as a working adult or when your life situation changes meeting new people and making friends can be a huge challenge. Please respect that and don’t take it to yourself.
2. If you are only visiting Groningen for a short time please find another event as we aim to create a local community.
3. I will announce the event on Monday.
4. Please arrive within the first 30 min of the event
5. If you cancel please do it by Friday morning at the latest. I will try to keep a close eye on it. And I would like to ask everyone on the waiting list to check their status by Friday evening.
6. If you are on the list and you didn't come on Saturday morning then you will get a message from me. I will take attendance as we are a small group.
7. If there is no space on the event and are a newbie in distress who you really want to join us, message me :) we always welcome new people, the rest is on you.

9. I only accept people with real profile pictures, we are a small group and it creates safety when we can recognize each other
