🌄 Sunrise Adventure: Fossil Rock Camping ⛺️ & Epic Hike Experience 🥾

Fossil Rock is one of the most fascinating natural sights in the UAE, and its proximity to Dubai makes it a must-visit for anyone looking to experience the UAE’s unique desert beauty. 🏜️ Located in Sharjah Emirate and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site, this area offers breathtaking desert landscapes, with jagged fossil rocks rising from deep red dunes. 🌄

I’m planning to camp overnight to reconnect with the off-road world. 🚙✨ From the top of Mount Mleiha, you can enjoy the "night show" of off-road vehicle lights in the distance. If you prefer a quieter experience, I recommend arriving early in the morning and joining us for a peaceful hike. 🌅🚶‍♂️

FOSSIL ROCK HIKE:
A moderate level hike across the valley of Mount Mleiha towards the plateau. It involves light bouldering and a bit of scrambling. The total distance of the trail is 6km return with an elevation gain of approximately 300 meters. It should take you 2-3 hours to complete the hike.

ITINERARY:
DAY 1 (SATURDAY, SEP 14):
• 16:30 — Meet in Dubai (location will be provided)
• Evening: Set up Fossil Rock camp (Sunset at 18:32)
• Free time to explore the surroundings, enjoy your packed meal, and relax by the bonfire. 🔥
DAY 2 (SUNDAY, SEP 15):
• Morning: Wake up for sunrise (Sunrise at 06:02)
• Enjoy a self-made breakfast
• HIKE: 2-3 hours 🚶‍♂️

There are two other incredible spots nearby—Camel Rock and the Eye of Mleiha. Depending on the weather and group dynamics, we may explore these as well.
