Let's Bowl in Alameda!

On the Saturday after the Super Bowl, let's enjoy a chance to go bowling! Come rain or shine, we'll be sharing some fun indoors at Alameda's newly-renovated bowling lanes. It's got a friendly vibe -- a neighborhood bowling alley offering a chance to relive fond memories and to make some new ones, along with some new friends.

And because it's a Saturday, we'll also have a chance to enjoy some great restaurants, including Alameda's own "Off the Grid" gourmet food trucks!

Anyone who wants to is welcome to join in for exercise and fun -- or just tag along to witness all the fun of a playful Saturday afternoon. The bowling alley has fancy and funny animations on the overhead scoreboards that celebrate each throw of the bar and cheer everybody on.

And the "Off The Grid" food trucks are an Alameda tradition, promising a special Bay Area treat. Every Saturday the "Off the Grid" event takes over Alameda's South Shore Mall. It's a throng of gourmet "mobile food markets" -- aspiring restauranteurs working out of fancy food trucks, all converging on the same afternoon.
