SLO Historic Urban Walk

Hello everyone, let’s “meetup” for an Urban Walk around downtown SLO. This area has a long history with 12 historic sites before ending back where we started at our own Queen Anne Victorian house, built in 1902.

Essentials

• Distance: 4.5 – 5 miles completely paved
• Duration: About 2.5 hours, depending on our pace

• Comfortable walking shoes
• Sun protection
• Hat
• Water

• Iron Road Pioneers Statue
• Del Monte Cafe (1900’s grocery store)
• Sinsheimer Park & SLO Blues (1946) Field
• Fremont Theater
• SLO Repertory Theater
• The Palm Theater (Independent)
• Ah Louis
• Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa (1772)
• Museum of Art
• Creamery

The walk will end with a tour of our 1902 Queen Anne Victorian house at 752 Buchon Street.
