About us
We are a modern Buddhist community (sangha). Our roots are primarily in the Zen tradition, but incorporate practices from Tibetan Buddhism, the Thai forest tradition, Theravada, and others. Our intent is help each other to be free from suffering and to awaken our hearts to the beauty that is right in front of us, no matter what difficulties may also arise.

Sunday Morning Virtual Meditation

Join us each Sunday morning at 9:30 EDT over Zoom to explore a teaching of the Buddha and meditate together.
Each service will includes a talk based on the teachings of the Buddha, a period of meditation, and time for Q&A and discussion. Open to all faiths and backgrounds, join us as we come together in celebration of inner peace, loving-kindness, joy, and compassion.Additional Information:
- Please note, in order to keep our sessions safe and secure, all participants must be registered and have a valid Zoom ID.
- The Zoom link you will receive will permit admittance for both the Sunday morning and Tuesday evening services. Come as often as you please!
- These services are free . . . and donations are greatly appreciated.
- Based on past events, the suggested donation is $10/session, but any amount is welcome (and again, $0 is fine).

Weekly Buddhist Meditation, Topic: Celebrating Int'l Day of Peace
Central Penn College, 600 Valley Rd, Summerdale, PA, USThis evening, we will celebrate the International Day of Peace, participating in a meditation that I will guide as part of Peace Day Philly's virtual (Zoom) event at 7pm. We'll talk about how, from a Buddhist perspective, our own actions can powerfully impact the state of peace in our lives as well as the world around us.

Join us each Monday evening at 6:30pm at Central Penn College, Room 204 in the ATEC building, for a weekly Buddhist meditation service as we seek to find peace in our hearts, connect with the world around us, and discover meaning during challenging times.
Each service includes a period of meditation followed by a talk and discussion on a teaching of the Buddha.
