Weekly Buddhist Meditation, Topic: Celebrating Int'l Day of Peace
Details
This evening, we will celebrate the International Day of Peace, participating in a meditation that I will guide as part of Peace Day Philly's virtual (Zoom) event at 7pm. We'll talk about how, from a Buddhist perspective, our own actions can powerfully impact the state of peace in our lives as well as the world around us.
For more information about Peace Day Philly's virtual event, and to register for it if you aren't able to join us at Central Penn College, visit [PeaceDayPhilly.org](https://www.peacedayphilly.org/event/what-can-we-do-for-peace-pdp-2026-a-local-global-gathering-for-peace-day/).
FYI, we usually have between 12 and 20 folks join us, many of whom don't RSVP here. Come join us!
Join us each Monday evening at 6:30pm at Central Penn College, Room 204 in the ATEC building, for a weekly Buddhist meditation service as we seek to find peace in our hearts, connect with the world around us, and discover meaning during challenging times.
Each service includes a period of meditation followed by a talk and discussion on a teaching of the Buddha.
Open to all faiths and backgrounds, join us as we come together in celebration of inner peace, loving-kindness, joy, and compassion.
