Weekly Buddhist Meditation, Topic: Examining a Life of Change
Details
Impermanence is one of the core principles in Buddhist philosophy. Tonight, through this lense, I would like to explore a "case study" of a 99-year-old friend of mine and the surprises that she never saw coming.
FYI, lately, we've had about 18-20 folks join us each week, many of whom don't RSVP here. I mention this because if I saw that only 2 people were going to an event, I might change my mind on going, myself, but fear not! These meetings have been awesome.
Join us each Monday evening at 6:30pm at Central Penn College, Room 204 in the ATEC building, for a weekly Buddhist meditation service as we seek to find peace in our hearts, connect with the world around us, and discover meaning during challenging times.
Each service includes a period of meditation followed by a talk and discussion on a teaching of the Buddha.
Open to all faiths and backgrounds, join us as we come together in celebration of inner peace, loving-kindness, joy, and compassion.
