What we’re about
This group is all about getting together and finding some accountability friends in the process of writing and making films.
We do activities like:
- Writing sessions: getting together, we do a quick meditation reset, and then write in chunks of 25-45 minutes, taking breaks to celebrate in between. Typically we do this for a total of about 2-3 hours, depending on the vibe. Afterwards, we do a decompression meditation to wind down and celebrate the days writing!
- Cinema Sessions: We get together for a random movie at Phenemona, a world class theatre, and afterwards meet for tea and discussion.
Ideal for any person in the film world trying to find dedicated time to work on their project.

See all- Phenomena Cinema Club: "The Naked Gun"Cinema Phenomena, Barcelona
Inspired by the Cinema Clubs and magazines of the 1950s in France that launched what we now know as the "film critic", this event will follow a similiar structure. We'll gather and watch a film at one of the most beautiful movie theaters in Barcelona - Phenomena - and follow it up with drinks, tea, and conversation about what we just saw.
Complete with dolby sound, 4k, 70mm projection, and surrounded by relics of cinema (The carpet is designed to look like its from the movie "The Shining"), we'll seek to watch a movie at Phenomena every 2 weeks.
We'll be watching the the recent release of "The Naked Gun", a reinvented classic that's been getting rave reviews. Tickets can be purchased here (highly recommend getting it ahead of time), and we'll meet near the venue at a location TBD about 45 minutes before hand.

5:40pm - go to Phenomna to grab seats (they fill up quick!)
6:10pm - Movie starts!
~7:40pm - Movie ends
8:00pm - Grab a drink at a nearby bar (TBD)

- Palau Música: "Blade Runner"w/live orchestra!Palau de la Musica, Barcelona
There’s nothing more special than watching a classic with a live orchestra performing its soundtrack. Well, maybe there are, but this is still pretty awesome and for sure not an event to be missed.
Palau Musica is an unreal venue, alone, and Blade Runner is an epicc film. Combine that with an orchestra? Booyah

Beyond that, we’ll hang out a bit nearby before and after tonchT about the movie, should you want to join, at the Empire Hotel rooftop nearby. Message me to join the whatsapp group (which is connected to the screenwriters group).
