About us
Welcome to the Weekly Sketchers Collective and Social Hour. This is a relaxed, informal space for anyone who enjoys drawing, whether you are a dedicated artist or someone who just likes to doodle in a notebook from time to time. We get together once a week to practice our craft, share what we are working on, and simply enjoy the company of other people who appreciate the creative process.
There is no formal instruction or pressure to produce a masterpiece here. The goal is to carve out a bit of time in our busy schedules to focus on sketching while getting to know one another. We usually spend the first part of the session working quietly on our own pages, and then we wind down with a social hour to talk about art, technique, or just catch up. If you have been looking for a consistent group to help you stay motivated and connected, we would love to have you join us.
