About us
This group is for anyone who wants to improve their sketching skills while connecting with fellow artists in a relaxed environment. Each week, we focus on a specific technique or subject, offering a structured masterclass session where we break down the fundamentals of drawing, composition, and observation. Whether you are working to refine your perspective, master shading, or just want to get more comfortable with your sketchbook, these sessions provide a space to learn and experiment.
Beyond the technical side, this is meant to be a creative social outlet. We believe that art is best practiced in the company of others, so we balance our lessons with plenty of time to share work, discuss projects, and swap tips over coffee or a drink. All skill levels are welcome here, and the only requirement is a genuine interest in picking up a pencil and developing your personal style alongside a supportive community.

Douglas Realistic Drawing for Adult Beginners
MQF5+WC Saugatuck, Douglas, GA, USđźď¸ Drawing for Beginners â Sit Down and Sketch Along
Always wanted to draw? This beginner class starts at the time of this event and takes you from blank page to finished sketch in an hour. No art supplies to buy: any pencil and plain paper will do.
You'll be drawing in Realistic Still Life: slow, careful observation and realistic shading of everyday objects.
When the class ends, photograph your drawing and send it in. A reviewer looks at your page and writes back with what's working and what to try next.
No experience needed. If you've ever said "I can't draw", this is for you.
An RSVP on its own won't get you in. Register through the link below to book your spot.
