Urban Night Cruise Stewart Park Area

We will meet at 8:45p on Stewart St. by the Stewart Park playground for a ~1 hour nocturnal cruise and exploration of the surrounding area.

This skate will be moderately difficult with variable surfaces, poor lighting, some narrow sidewalk riding, and rolling slopes, so being comfortable monitoring your speed is a must. We typically cruise around 7 mph or so. As usual, our route will be impromptu and we will discuss other routes based on the skill set and interests of the group.

There will be dark patches, so a light would be wise. Some gear to consider bringing: your wheels of choice, headlamp, high-vis vest, helmet/pads, small backpack, water, and snacks. If anyone 21+ is interested in skating to some bars after, bring a small, cheap drawstring backpack with a pair of shoes in a grocery bag to change into.
