University of Alberta Pedway Walk for Newcomers and Locals

Get a tour of the University of Alberta from 2 current students (BA and MSc). The tour will be mostly indoors (so don't worry about the weather), with some brief moments outdoors. There are washrooms and opportunities to get snacks/drinks along the way.

Meeting Time: 5pm (arrive at 4:45pm to join our warm up)
Meeting point: Students Union Building entrance (SUB)
Welcome Walks YEG was started in July 2026 by University of Alberta student Rebecca Barnes, and we have met bi-weekly ever since! Each walk is a chance to meet people from different backgrounds and share your own story, all while discovering new parts of the city together. No pressure, no expectations, just curious hearts and open minds.
