Sacramento is booming, and we are excited!
However green spaces are slowly diminishing under the rising tide of concrete, leaving local residents with no reprieve from the stresses of urban life.
Now imagine a space thriving with life, full of vegetables and people happily sharing in nature’s bounty.
This is not your ordinary garden, this is Welkin Farms - an urban oasis that helps our community thrive!
We want to welcome everyone who wants to lend a helping hand to help grow fresh local food to be donated to people in need.

We are located at 491 Fountain Dr, West Sacramento, CA 95605
Main volunteer days: Sat and Sun 9am-11am, If these don't work for you we'll try to fit you in on a different day if possible.
