Frog Walk & Talk

Do you enjoy the calls of frogs in the Spring? If so, join us for this evening talk & walk at Welkinweir and listen for the calls of spring peepers, wood frogs, and others as we learn about adaptations of frogs to survive the winter, their emergence in spring and to enjoy the serenade of sounds. We'll be joined by Kim White, North Coventry resident, who for 16 years, has helped frogs and salamanders cross the local road during their annual migration. Her home property has a large vernal pool that the amphibians use for breeding which they recently protected with a conservation easement.
