YouConf and Azure with Phil Lee

Details
I recently entered the CodeProject Windows Azure Developer Challenge, with the goal of building a site (based on Scott Hanselman's dotNetConf site at http://live.dotnetconf.net/2013-04 ), which allows anyone to host their own virtual conference; complete with embedded YouTube video feed, and Twitter chat feed. The resulting site - http://youconf.azurewebsites.net - is what I came up with.
Part of the competition involved writing an article documenting what you've done, how/why you've done it etc. I've tried to document as I go, and you can find my article at http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/584534/YouConf-Your-Live-Online-Conferencing-Tool . This will likely change daily as the competition continues!
The session will cover items from the article, the code, and the competition in general. At a glance, I'll go over the following:
- Quick overview of Azure websites and the competition
- Integrated source control with GitHub and automated deployments
- Azure table storage
- Google Hangouts and how to embed them in your pages
- Twitter widgets and how to embed them
- Some cool MVC 4 features
- SignalR
- jQuery
- etc etc etc
I'm open to questions, so if you'd like me to go in-depth on a given item please feel free to ask. Note that I'll most likely have to break this up into multiple sessions, so may not be able to cover all of the able items in the first session. I'll do my best to plough through though!
Finally - I'll attempt to record the session, and stream it live for those who can't make it.
