The Wellington Modern Classics Book Club focuses mostly on modern classics - novels that explore inner lives, relationships, and big ideas with emotional depth and beautiful writing. Think thoughtful, atmospheric, intense, but never dry or purely academic.
We read books that invite conversation - stories about people, not just plots. Expect a mix of 20th century favourites and a few earlier or later works that share that same introspective, human feel.
