Transgender and Gender Diverse Writing Space

A monthly writing event designed by and for transgender and gender diverse people, held on the first Monday of each month from 7.00pm to 9.00pm at Te Whare Kahukura, 2/330 High Street, Lower Hutt.
It is open to anyone who is intersex, transgender, non-binary, gender diverse, gender queer or gender questioning.
People with any or no writing experience are welcome, from total beginner to published authors. All genres of writing, including poetry, fiction and non-fiction are encouraged.
At each meeting we begin with introductions and talk about what we want to get out of the evening. Some writing exercises are provided if you need help getting started.
We finish each night with a cup of tea and snacks.
Please bring your own writing materials - paper or digital, any writing projects you would like to work on and a small contribution of snacks to share.
