This group is for anyone interested in supporting the vibrant Wellington live music scene. We started with jazz gigs but now include blues, soul, and funk bands since they are all musically related, plus reggae 'cos I like it.
If you are keen on a gig, RSVP, and look out for other members. Having someone to sit with can make the evening more social.
One final point. Most people are there to listen to the performer, so please hold your chat until a break in the music.

The Daniel White Blues Trio
Lynott's Irish Pub, 21 Blair Street, Te Aro, Wellington 6011, New Zealand, Wellington, NZWe like to bring you old favourites and also introduce our audience to new acts. This week we have another band new to Capital Blues, The Daniel White Trio.
Daniel has been playing blues around the Wellington region for a few years. He has a five-piece band called The Resistors, and a duo with Rory Mcartney (Rodger Fox Big Band) on bass. For this show it will be a three-piece with Dwayne Diack on bass and Greg Kubala on drums.
You can expect some tasty guitar, drawing from the sounds of Texas and Chicago blues, as well as a strong emphasis on groove and funk — all backed by a rocking rhythm section.
