The Carol Bean Ensemble

The Carol Bean Ensemble offers songs from the blues players of old - Ma Rainy,
Elmore James, Memphis Minnie, and Jimmy Reed. As well as contemporary players
from Austin such as Eliza Gilkyson, Debbie Davies, and Angela Strelhi.
Etta James - from LA, Carol’s hometown, is on the list, and so is Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown.
Ready to showcase an afternoon of steamy, slow, and up-tempo blues you’ve probably never heard before.
Carol has assembled a cracking band:
Deane Hunter on guitar
Andrew Richardson on drums
Elliot Fuimaono on bass and
Duncan Haynes on keyboard.
