Capital Blues Presents William Jackman

William played an opening set for us at the last show at Jack Hackett’s. We enjoyed it so much, we’ve asked him back, so come and see what you missed.
William Jackman is a singer-songwriter born ‘n’ raised in Te whanganui a Tara/Wellington.
After busking and gigging his way through high-school, William helped form the group The Shadow Blasters, who had their own unique way of playing the blues. They released two albums that covered a myriad of genres, from hard-rock to psychedelic, alt-country to soul-based ballads, there was always some root within the blues.
Now focusing on his two upcoming solo releases and a short tour to celebrate autumn, William is bringing a set of both his influences and his original compositions.
