SharePoint Advanced Management (SAM) Lifecycle and Cleanup

Want to get started using SharePoint Advanced Management to manage the lifecycle of your sites? This session will walk you through the initial cleanup steps, how to “bucket” your content into actions and eventually move into BAU policies. There are some gotchas we will walk through from real life experiences and we will discuss the current gaps with retention, deletion and connected Teams and Groups.

I started my career 18 years ago as a web developer in classic technology including php and asp.net and then joined a graduate scheme at a Microsoft Partner Consultancy in Christchurch. I lived in London for 10 years focusing on building and running consulting teams.

My most recent focus has been on digital employee experience and how Microsoft 365 can enhance our day to day interactions with technology. I have a passion for creating client experiences with interactive and effective workshops that focus on what is most important for the business as well as their employees. Projects should be fun and rewarding and provide the right amount of expertise while taking up the right amount of time from project teams and their colleagues.
