This group is for anyone in Wellington who loves the thrill of solving a good mystery!
Join us for exciting Murder Mystery Games where you'll channel your inner detective to solve puzzles, uncover clues, and catch the killer.
If you are new to the genre, Murder Mystery are interactive, live-action, role-playing game, that are centered around one concept: one of the characters will get murdered, and one of the players is the murderer. The games usually play 10ish players, and for 4-5 hours the players will be role-playing their characters, solving the murder case and digging out each other's dirty little secrets. It's like stepping into a live-action detective game filled with suspense, intrigue, and lots of fun.
Whether you're a seasoned sleuth or a newbie to the genre, you'll have a blast testing your wits a intuition in these immersive and interactive games!

What's a Murder Mystery?
Murder mysteries are interactive, live-action role-playing games where one character ends up dead, and one of the players is the killer. The players will spend 3-4hours role-playing, solving the case, and uncovering everyone's secrets. It's like stepping into a live-action detective game filled with suspense, intrigue, and loads of fun.Event Details:
Join us on May 24 for a murder mystery set during the 1972 chess world championship match. Following 20 years of hegemony, an American chess player is facing the soviet champion in a decisive game for the world champion title. The chess federation officials are the host of the tournament. The Russian and American delegations are there as well, with their star player. But things are going to turn sour: someone just got murdered! Who could have done it? - Player Limit: We have space for 12 or 13 players plus the organisers.
- Info: You’ll get all the details, including your character sheet and the location, 1-2 weeks before the event. Your character sheet will have your background, goals, and abilities.
- Prep: Read and print your character sheet. Costumes are encouraged to help everyone get into character!
- Duration: The game lasts 4-5 hours.
- Food: Please bring food to share for a potluck, alcohol welcome as well (no spirit)
- Host: The host (me) will be there to help you with anything you need and answer any questions.
