This is not a dating group, nor a group for swingers, nor people looking for hookups. Strictly over 18's only. While you may meet people you click with, as with any other social group, our focus is on discussion, socialising and support.
The focus of this group is on consensual, ethical non-monogamy (often referred to as CNM or ENM). Ethical non-monogamy means open and honest relationships where all parties are aware of and consent to non-monogamy. It's the opposite of cheating.
Are you curious about, just getting started in or actively practising polyamory/non-monogamy?
This is a group for anyone who wants to meet others with the same interests to share ideas and experiences. Your label is not important. You can identify as polyamorous, non-monogamous, open, swinger, poly-curious, poly-fidelitous, solo polyamorist, mono/poly or any other of the many descriptors out there. The only criterion is that you feel that you, or a relationship you're involved in, does not fit the monogamous "norm". We also welcome monogamous people who have non-monogamous partners and want to learn more or connect with others in their situation.
Come along to:
- meet others with the same interest so you know you're not alone.
- share experiences (the good, the bad and the ugly)
- share resources you've found helpful (books, websites, movies, blogs, podcasts, etc.)
- give each other the courage to take those first steps, or overcome a hurdle, or become more confident in this monogamy-centric society.
