#WellyRecMeetup How awesome is Wellington!?

Believe it or not! It's Spring time in Wellywood! And the next #WellyRecMeetup is set to kick off the season with another evening of industry intermingling in Z Energy's fancy pants offices right on the waterfront. Ooolala!

This meetup we're celebrating our great city WELLINGTON, and we have 2 fresh new speakers lined up.

First up we have our host and sponsor Julie Fitzgerald from Z Energy.
Julie has been with Z Energy and Shell in New Zealand for 15 years. She has worked in Retail, Commercial and is now in the People and Culture team as Talent Manager looking after Recruitment, Onboarding, Development, Talent and Succession and Diversity and Inclusion.

While reasonably new to the recruitment, Julie has a number of years of experience in learning and development and is passionate about enabling others be successful, being themselves both through creating engaging blended learning, through coaching and through driving the Diversity and Inclusion portfolio at Z.

In her spare time, Julie is actively involved in Community Musical Theatre in Wellington and is Production Manager for Bad Girls the Musical, on now at the Gryphon Theatre in Ghuznee St. (Tickets available on iTicket BTW)

Following a short intermission, we'll have our next guest; Luke Cassidy who's fresh off the boat from Ireland. When he's not enjoying Wellington's stunning weather, he's doing his bit with the team at Shopify to get the best talent onboard and escalating teams.

Prepare to be jealous! Luke has been with Shopify for 3 years, with last 2 being in RECRUITMENT. He's a master of the fabled "working remotely", being one their first recruiters on European soil, building on their excellent employer brand whilst working from home, cafe's and we suspect....the pub.

Now in Wellington, he's here to tell his tales of travel, recruitment, writing, martial arts and something called GAA???
