Navigating 💩 times with advice from those who’ve been through it

WellyRecMeetup is back!
Troy recently talked to a group of recruiters about getting the band back together because the industry was feeling a little tired and stagnant.
Therefore, with the help of our spobsor in Carbon Invoice©️….
we're starting with a panel of amazing recruiters from both internal and agency sectors who will share their insights on what to do in tough economic times.
What's that you say? 👀
"I'm okay, and I'm billing or filling more than ever?"
Bullshit. 🫢
Let's stop this narrative of "I'm the best, and everything is always awesome."
Times are tough for agencies and internal recruiters alike, and this meetup is for those who want to come and learn from those who are willing to be open and vulnerable and admit that "everything is not always awesome."
These panel members have seen it before, and they will provide great tips on how we can navigate these times.
We can look to our cousins in the Melbourne Recruitment meetup, who are doing these events so well 🙌🏻 and have the most engaged and supportive community I have seen.
So, please join us for a fun night where we can bring internal and agency recruiters together and
"SOLVE ALL THE PROBLEMS" 😅.
There will be agency owners and recruiters, internal managers, and internal recruiters.
We even have David Swift from Seek and Sean Walters from Auckland flying down for this event. You can find Sean's LinkedIn profile for more information.
Food, drinks, and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided, and all you need to bring is your curiosity and compassion to support our great community.
Clients look at these events to see who is trying to be the best recruiter they can be, so don't be a "Karen" and pretend you're too cool to hang out with the legends of the industry.
Note: If you're not a recruiter, this event is not for you. There are other meetups for those looking for work. However, I encourage you to connect with the recruiters who attend, as they are the ones worth networking with.
Thank you so very much to the panel for giving up their time. 🙏🏻
See you there 🫡
