24kms ride on newly graded track The Wild Coast Ride to the Wairarapa & return

Details
This would be one of the best rides I have done and its called the Wild Coast Ride for a reason.
The ride starts at the Orongorongo Station and we will be riding 12Km (24km return) to the Mukamukaiti campground then returning.
Note: this is an easy ride and we will NOT be going right through to Corner Creek Campsite (36Kms return) which is our usual ride.
NOTE: the road has been recently graded and is in the best condition Ive ever seen it in. This ride is weather dependent.
This ride will suits all riders who can comfortably cycle on farm tracks with muscle or e bikes. The riding time is approx 3.00 hours plus. Primarily flat(ish) 4 x 4 tracks with some sandy patches (far less now its been graded) that are easier to walk and a creek crossing or two.
There will be plenty of stops and a chance see the farmland and coast around Palliser Bay, with some absolutely stunning views. See the intro picture. Last time we saw a pod of dolphins, semi wild horses and sheep and wild goats. We will be going through the Turakirae Head Scientific Reserve where we may see some seals and past Barney's Whare (a private hut). From there it’s on to Mukamukaiti Campsite for a break before returning.
We cycle as a group and as fast as the slowest rider, with regular stops.

If you have a friend who is interested , just add a PLUS ONE to your invite providing they are riding fit.
If you have a spare seat in your car and space on your bike rack to share, please consider offering a ride to others in the comments section so we're not all driving separate cars to the same place.
MEETING POINT: Drive through Wainuiomata and down Coast Road to the car park at the end of the road. (Just before the bridge over the Orongorongo River). It’s approx a 45 minute drive from Petone.
Please remember to RSVP, so we know numbers on the day and please let us know if you are not coming so we don’t wait for you.
Please TEXT or CALL early if you have any questions, as there is limited phone service at the meeting point.
