While mindfulness and meditation bring many personal benefits, such as reduced stress and increased calmness, its roots within Buddhism are part of a much larger set of practices and actions which move us beyond a focus on ourselves and connect us with everyone and everything around us -- and spark a desire to act on behalf of the world we want to see. Join us in a discussion, an activity and some meditation, where we can explore this topic further.โจ
๐ Time: Doors open at 7:15, and we start the session at 7:30
๐ Location: We meet in the Wellington Friends Centre at the end of Moncrieff Street, up the steps and in the room to the right.
