Science Based Healthcare Activism in the Pub

This is a regular meeting for people who want to be involved in skeptical activism. We spend an evening in a pub, working collaboratively on a skeptical subject of local (New Zealand) concern.
The kinds of projects envisioned for these evenings include filing complaints with the ASA, editing Wikipedia to add a skeptical viewpoint to articles that are not presently fairly balanced and creating small websites to counter unscientific claims made by organisations such as FANNZ and the IAS.
Our complaints with the ASA, and like places, are largely related to Healthcare claims, but we are always willing to help with other topics.
The evening is technology based; Please bring a laptop, tablet or smartphone.
We hope to be doing a lot of internet based activity, and will be connecting to the pub's WiFi network.
