Waitangi Day Beach and Barbecue

A chance to catch up and enjoy some time on the beach.
From 3:30pm We will be situated on Petone Beach adjacent to the changing rooms, roughly half way between Petone Wharf and the Settlers Museum. Look out for a red beach umbrella. If you have trouble finding us txt me (Philip) on 02108410254
As well as swimming and generally relaxing on the beach, there will be other optional activities such as petanque. Feel free to bring other games and beach activities.
From about 6:00pm there will be a barbecue at one the four free Barbecues on the Petone foreshore situated between the Heretaunga Boating club (the building with the square turret) and the toilet/changing rooms, (roughly half way between Petone Wharf and the Settlers Museum).
The basics for the barbecue will be supplied but other contributions welcome, particularly if you have any dietary preferences (there are several nearby supermarkets).
