Points, Platforms, and Pitfalls: My Z Rewards Experience

Tonight you’ve got yours truly, Mike Gilbert, taking you behind the scenes of my 18‑month ride as Principal Architect on the Z Rewards project.

It’s been one heck of a journey - tonight I’ll share why loyalty programmes everywhere (not just Z’s) have had to evolve so fast. We’ll look at what a modern, 2025-ready loyalty platform actually looks like, and I’ll spill some war stories from the trenches - the messy, clever, and occasionally hilarious bits that made this work as tricky as it was (ahem) rewarding.

Everyone is welcome - if you are in an IT/Digital role or considering one, you do architecture and you should come along and meet us. This talk will be particularly useful for folks considering an Architect role or want to know what Architects do.
