Wellington Street Epistemology Meet

Details

We're getting together again for another meet is next Tuesday 1st September 2020 at Inverlochy House (Inverlochy Art School), 3 Inverlochy Place, Te Aro, Wellington. 7-9pm. We're a small group aiming to get big, by including you.

Anyone genuinely interested in either sharing their own belief or practising Street Epistemology (SE) in exploring other people's beliefs are welcome. If you're after a debate, however, you'll be disappointed. Street Epistemology is not debate. Come to learn, teach, develop, promote and practice Street Epistemology by meeting up and getting practical experience.

For this meet we will hope to have attendees who would like to be interviewed about how they came to believe what they believe. Through practising we can learn the basics of street epistemology, and bounce around ideas about effective ways of studying and practising it. If there is no-one attending who would like to be interviewed on their belief, we will be taking turns role-playing beliefs.

If you'd like to be interviewed, or know someone who would like to be, please just come along.

To learn more about it, go to https://streetepistemology.com/ or to watch it in action go to this Youtube channel. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCocP40a_UvRkUAPLD5ezLIQ Anthony Magnabosco, is one of the leading advocates and practitioners of Street Epistemology.

Please indicate if you are able to come. Koha to cover costs. Refreshments provided.
