meet at the bottom of Maungakotukutuku Rd. Convoy to the track start at Campbell's Mill Rd. This is a 4WD route above Whareroa Farm. Drop down to the Whakatikei River, following the road to Orange hut. There are several other routes we can take back to the cars. 16 to 18 km return depending on options taken. Easy travel but there could be muddy puddles.

## About the trail
Campbell Mill’s road is a wide, easy 4WD track that connects Maungakotukutuku Road to Akatarawa Forest. It features stunning views of Kāpiti Coast, Kapiti Island, Whareroa Farm and Queen Elizabeth Park.
It is a key connector route between the top of the Five Ways Track, the Horse Track, and Catchment View Track in Whareroa Farm. From here, you can also venture further into the nearby Akatarawa Forest Park.
## Getting there
- By car, exit State Highway 1 at Mackay’s Crossing just north of Paekākāriki. Head north along Emerald Glen then Waterfall Road (unsealed road for 1km) to Valley Road,
