Ohau off track loop near 6 discs

Enjoy spring with some off track up hill training. Park up at the end of Poads Rd, Walk 2km of the Ohau track, cross the first bridge then take a steep right. Climb off track via point 295 to the 6 discs junction. To stop the day being too short and boring we will then follow the Waiopehu track up for a couple of km then return to the cars via the marked track.
There will be supplejack and scrub to push through on the unmarked ridge.
