Cattle Ridge (Bannister ascent?)

Sunday eve Putara road end (in from Ekatahuna) to Roaring Stag hut 3.5 - 4hr. Mon up to cattle ridge hut, traverse cattle ridge, check out the route to Bannister. Mon eve maybe Cow creek hut or a biv/camp. Tues up the Ruamahanga valley to Roaring stag and out to Putara.

While this is a fit trip (and I may not be fit enough!), more than happy for company part of the way e.g. The walk in to Roaring Stag is easy and no hurry, but it will get dark before we get there. (sorry I'm working till 3pm Sun)
