About us

### The Invitation

Have you ever felt like a seedling trying to break through hard, compacted soil?
Whether you are navigating the heavy fog of anxiety, the physical toll of chronic pain, or the complex cycle of emotional eating, life can often feel isolating. We created Wellness Seedlings because we believe that no one should have to grow alone. This is a global space for those who are ready to stop "just getting by" and start cultivating genuine resilience through the power of community.

### What We Do

Our primary gatherings are Community Conversation Circles based on the Integrative Community Therapy (ICT) model.
What does that actually mean? Unlike a traditional therapy group or a casual social hangout, an ICT circle is a structured yet organic space. We don’t come together to "fix" each other or offer unsolicited advice. Instead, we focus on:

  • Sharing the "Pebbles": We talk about the small (or large) things causing discomfort in our lives right now.
  • Finding the Common Thread: We choose a shared theme for each session.
  • Echoing & Reflecting: We share stories of how we’ve navigated similar hurdles, allowing everyone to learn from the collective wisdom of the room.

You will leave these sessions feeling heard, less alone, and often with a fresh perspective on a challenge you’ve been facing.

### Our "Seedling" Philosophy

We chose the name Seedlings because it represents regeneration and potential. A seedling isn't "weak"—it is a powerhouse of growth that just needs the right environment to thrive.

  • The Free Circles: Our ICT Community Conversations are always free. They are the "sunlight and water" for our community—accessible to everyone, anywhere in the world.
  • The Deep-Dives: For those ready for more intensive work, we offer closed, peer-learning groups. These 8-week journeys follow Andrea Wachter’s specialized courses on topics like body image, overeating, and emotional regulation.

### Is This for You?

This community is for you if:

  • You value Peer Support and believe in learning from lived experience.
  • You are tired of "wellness" being a solo, expensive endeavor.
  • You want a Safe Space where confidentiality and non-judgment are the highest priorities.
  • You are looking for a global connection with local heart.

### The Safety Pledge

To ensure our "garden" remains a safe place to grow:

  1. Strict Confidentiality: What is shared in the circle stays in the circle.
  2. No "Fixing": We hold space; we don't give advice unless explicitly asked.
  3. Come As You Are: You don't need to be "healed" to join us. You just need to be human.

Ready to break through? Join the group, RSVP for our next free circle, and let’s start growing together.

- “When the mouth is silent, the body speaks. When the mouth speaks, the body heals.”

Do you ever feel like you’re carrying a "pebble in your shoe"? This might be a challenge at work, a tension in a relationship, or a lingering sense of burnout that feels heavy to hold alone.
This gathering is a community based conversation informed by Integrative Community Therapy (ICT). This model offers minimal structure to help bring forth natural conversations within a community for collective healing and resiliency.

What is ICT?
Integrative Community Therapy is a unique approach to well-being that has supported over 2 million people worldwide. Born in Brazil, this modality focuses on the power of community based dialogue.
In this setting, there are no experts. Instead, every participant brings the expertise of their own lived experience. The key is connection: connecting with others to relieve tension in the body and provide comfort for the soul.

What to Expect
We follow a 5 step participatory structure that allows the conversation to flow naturally:

  1. Welcoming: We settle in, orient ourselves to the space, and share small celebrations.
  2. Choosing the Topic: Participants are invited to share challenges from their daily lives. We vote on a situation that resonates with the whole group.
  3. Contextualization: The person whose topic is chosen provides more detail. We ask clarifying questions to understand their experience more deeply.
  4. The Sharing Circle: Everyone is invited to share their own stories and coping skills related to the theme. We listen to reflect on each other’s journeys, building connection and resilience.
  5. Concluding Ritual: We close with a brief takeaway or reflection to carry forward.

About Me
I have spent over 3 years in training and facilitating groups informed by Integrative Community Therapy (ICT) along with seasoned professionals. I am dedicated to creating spaces where connection and shared lived experience help us navigate life’s challenges together.

How We Show Up for Each Other
To keep this a supportive space, we follow a few simple agreements:

  • Speak from experience: We use "I" statements to share our own stories.
  • Listen without fixing: We avoid giving advice or judgment.
  • Participate as you feel comfortable: You are welcome to speak, or simply listen in silence.
  • You are welcome to arrive late or leave early.
