Dinner and Discussion - The Gut Brain Axis

Details

The Gut Brain Axis

As our understand of our being grows, it is becoming increasingly apparent that a lot of our health is contingent on our gut health. While our brain controls and interprets our experience and thinking about ourselves and the world, and our quality of life, it is the our gut health that is a huge influencer of our overall health.

The gut has increasingly been referred to as our second brain in recent times, and there seems to be a lot of truth to that, it has its own nervous system, is the seat of the immune system of the body and is host to a large contingent of bacteria that inhabit it, who have lifes and agendas of their own.

It is becoming more and more obvious now that the brain and the gut are involved in a dance that acutely affects our quality of life and it seems that on of the best ways to increase our quality of life and wellness is to find a balance that supports both of these attributes of ourselves.

If your interested in exploring the very interesting connection between the gut and the brain, and some of the ways you can enhance your wellbeing, and what you can do about it to create robust vibrant health come along on Tues 4 March 2025 at The Leicester Hotel at 6pm.

Bring along your curious questions!
