We will enjoy this public holiday with a mini yoga retreat, slowing down together to connect body and mind with nature while enjoying each other’s company. Away from the city streets but still close to home, this is a gentle mix of walking, yoga, simple picnic time, and good conversation.
Who this mini retreat is for
● People who want a calm, nature-based reset without leaving Hong Kong.
● Anyone new to yoga or returning after a break who prefers a gentle, friendly setting.
● People who are visiting Hong Kong or new in town and want a different experience beyond the usual sightseeing.
● Those who enjoy light hiking, greenery, and exploring quieter corners of the city.
● People who want to meet others, socialize in a relaxed way, and connect with fellow movement and wellness practitioners.
Itinerary of the day
● Meet at Sai Ying Pun Station Exit C (street level) at 10:00 a.m. Please arrive early to greet the group.
● Short, mindful hike to Pinewood Battery for yoga and a picnic
● Forest yoga for about 1 hour (target start around 11:00 a.m.), with gentle stretching and grounding poses
● Environment-friendly picnic (bring your own food and enjoy a simple meal together)
● Optional hike up to the Peak and continue to High West for the view, then a scenic Lugard Road stroll back toward the Peak area
● Return to Central; if energy and mood allow, optional coffee or a relaxed social gathering afterward
Event fee
Free event – no payment required.
☆ This Labor Day mini retreat is offered as a special community gesture to thank you for joining and to help more people discover the group
What to bring / wear
● Your own yoga mat. You can use beach towel or picnic mat instead of big yoga mat. So, it's easier to carry along the hike.
● A small towel for stretching
● Comfortable clothing and hiking shoes
● Your own food, or something to share if you wish
● Reusable containers and cutlery to minimize plastic waste
RSVP & cancellations
● Limited spaces – please only RSVP if you’re fairly sure you can come, and update your RSVP if your plans change.
● If you need to cancel, please do so at least 48 hours before the event so someone on the waitlist can take your spot.
● Repeated no‑shows for Wellness Wonder events may lead to restrictions for future mini retreats and small yoga outings, so we can keep space for active participants
