Come to this event to learn about growing your own vegetables. Chris White, a Washington County Master Gardener, will be our presenter. All levels of garden experience are welcome.
Chris is from Oakdale and first learned to garden as an adult. She has been gardening for more than 40 years. Her garden will be featured in the Washington County Master Gardener Garden Tour on July 20, 2024.
Vegetable Gardening 101
Planting a vegetable garden is a great activity for all ages! There are many rewards in planning, planting and harvesting vegetables, including:
- fresh and healthy food
- saving money
- developing a good work ethic
- building self-esteem.
The method taught will save space, yield a high producing harvest, and bring lots of satisfaction.
