Fall Ride St Croix River Loop Trails - Meeting Location Change

Due to a possible trail closure north of downtown Stillwater, we are changing the meeting location to south of downtown, Brown's Creek Trailhead South (free) parking lot (see location address). We will first ride the Crossing Loop, counter clockwise then head north on Brown's Creek trail to Brown's Creek Park at Neal Ave N if the trail is open.

The DNR website said the closure will be through October 10th. However in the event it is delayed, the change will allow us to ride the Loop across the H36 bridge and down the hill onto the Lift Bridge. The hill down to the bridge is an 8% grade so you will need to use your brakes going down. Gears will be needed to ride uphill across the 36 bridge. All biking will be on paved trails and sidewalks.

This last ride of the 2025 season will be in the afternoon, hopefully enjoying the warmth and color of the fall season.

Bring your bike, helmet, snack and water bottle.

Please arrive in time to unload and prepare your bike for a 1 pm start.
