Aug 2026 Marine on St. Croix Kayak- Bring Your Own

NOTE: This event is for bringing your own kayak (cost $10 plus fees). If you do not have a kayak and would like to rent one (cost $30 plus fees), please see the separate Meetup event for the same day and time.
Kerri Kolstad of Wahoo Adventures will lead us on a 3 mile round trip paddle of the St. Croix river beginning at Marine on the St. Croix. We will paddle north to William O'Brien State park.
Wahoo Adventures will provide the guide for the event.
Please arrive in time to unload, and carry your kayak to the launch for putting in at 10 am.
Bring your sunscreen, a water bottle and snacks. Wear clothing and strap on shoes that can get wet. There will be a downhill walk to the river and launch site. Bring money if you would like ice cream at Nita Mae's Ice Cream afterwards.
Cancellation
The event may be cancelled if weather conditions prevent safe kayaking. Any cancellation will be sent through Meetup. Refunds or credits will be made if cancellation is weather related.
